About Idaho Fire & Iron

​Our story started the same way many good things do—in a garage.

​

In 2015, in Star, Idaho, we began building custom fire pits for local landscapers who wanted something better than off-the-shelf products. Stronger. Cleaner. Built to last. As word spread, those early projects evolved into fully custom natural gas fire features, each one designed and fabricated to fit its space perfectly.

Today, we offer a full line of wood-burning and natural gas fire pits, all designed and built in-house. Every weld, cut, and bend reflects over 25 years of hands-on welding and fabrication experience. Our shop is fully equipped with CNC plasma and laser cutting, band saws, cold saws, a metal lathe, and a 60-ton CNC hydraulic press brake—giving us complete control from raw steel to finished product.

In 2025, we expanded beyond fire features and launched a new lineup of open-fire cooking grills, including traditional Santa Maria–style grills that celebrate live-fire cooking the way it’s been done for generations. And in 2026, we’re taking that passion even further with a new line of open-fire cooking tools—burger smashers, charcoal chimney starters, griddles, and rotisserie systems—built with the same durability and attention to detail as our fire pits.

Outside the shop, our inspiration comes from the Idaho outdoors. Hunting, fishing, hiking, and exploring with family shape how we think about fire and food. We believe a warm fire brings people together—and great meals shared around it make those moments unforgettable.
